Science World has a special place in my heart.

Since 2014 I’ve been involved as a donor, Board Member, and now on the Advisory Council and Fundraising Committee. I was also proud to have been recently recognized as a Nerd in Science World’s The World Needs More Nerds campaign.

When COVID-19 first impacted our lives more than a year ago I was inspired by how capably Science World pivoted, responding with increased community outreach to deliver its science and technology programs online for teachers and students across the province. Never has science been more essential – and I’m very excited about the steps Science World is taking to ensure our children and youth have even more access to this vital education.

With your support, Science World will raise $10 million to invest in both scaling its programming digitally – reaching close to 3.5 million people this year – and implementing new immersive experiences to further connect and inspire British Columbians through science and nature.
