My aunt, my great aunt, a university friend, and my father in law (whom I never had chance to meet) all died from cancer, and as a pharmacist I still regularly see good people dying from cancer. I feel its time for me to "do my bit" again and hope the challenge of training for and doing this ride will benefit my own health and help me lose weight; some of my friends and family are prepared to sponsor me based on the weight I lose as well as for the bike ride
