My god daughter Zoe sadly passed away on 19th November 2018 not long before her 15th birthday following a short illness.

In 2019 Team Zoe raised just under £19,000 for Bristol Children's Hospital.  This money was used to purchase heart monitors and other vital equipment for the ward that Zoe was looked after on.

I had thought that would be the last of my fundraising however Zoe's dad kindly put me forward for a charity place for the Bath Half on Sunday 15th March 2020, obviously aware of my deep passion for running :)

My training plans have somewhat been disrupted with the weather and my preference for a gin or glass of red :)  However I am ready and with the support of the crowd, Zoe's family and your kind donation I am confident I will complete the course in a reasonable time.

I have funded the place myself and all donations will go towards the 2020 fund in Zoe's memory and her parents will work with the hospital to ensure all the fund raising is allocated to support children who are seriously ill.

Should the event be cancelled due to corona virus I will either run when it is re-scheduled or sign up to another half marathon and complete.

I am using my previous Just Giving site, hence the previous fund raising amounts.

Zoe is sorely missed and will never be forgotten by her family and friends.
