We support the fight against men’s cancers to fund nurses, equipment & support.

Story

Set within the Historic Plymouth Sound, swimmers will leave Commercial Wharf on the Barbican by boat, be taken to the Breakwater, where they will enter the water and swim the 2.2miles across the Sound before reaching land on the Beach next to the Art Deco Tinside Pool.

The Chestnut Appeal for Prostate Cancer raises funds to help men with prostate cancer and their families across Devon and Cornwall. Their aim is to; increase awareness, support specialist nurses and fund the latest treatments.

In preparation for this swim, I have been swimming 3-4 days a week and even on holiday I have been in the pool every day.

This charity is important to me as my late Grandad had prostate cancer.
