Story
This year will be 20 years since my Dad sadly passed away quite suddenly through a brain tumor at the youthful age of 49.
Phil was a fantastic father to myself and my older sister
Sarah, a devoted husband to Allison, and inspiring son to Edith & Ray
Couchman.
Phil Couchman was a big part of the community in Mickleover and played a key role inspiring young sportsman into the game of cricket, coaching and developing young men, I'm personally very proud of the selfless time that he put into people and the amazing man he was to all his family and friends. Therefore will be walking with friends and family in memory of the great man, and the great work that Macmillan undertake on a daily basis.

Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t
support everyone who needs them. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast
and secure. Your details are safe, JustGiving - they'll never sell them or send
unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the
charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting
costs.
In 2023, I am taking on a Mighty Hike along the beautiful trails of the Peak District to raise money for people living with cancer.I have pledged to raise £250 and would appreciate any support in reaching this. It could go towards funding a Macmillan Support Worker for two days who could provide emotional, practical and financial advice to someone affected by cancer.
