<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>Watching the effects of Altziemers on my Gran over the years has had a huge impact on me, so much so that I want to give something back to help find a cure for this terrible disease.</p> <p>Those of you who know me will know that I am not built for running, and having watched Robson Green's Wild Water Swimming (where he nearly died!), I thought - "I can do that!"</p> <p>So on Sunday, 19th June 2011, I am going to be taking part in the British Gas Great North Swim to raise money for the Altziemer's Society.</p> <p>I will be swimming one mile in Lake Windermere, and am hoping to achieve the distance in under one hour.</p> <p>All support will be gratefully received.</p> <p>So please dig deep and donate now.</p>
