2018 sees The Great Western Air Ambulance Charity celebrate its 10th birthday and what better way to celebrate than running a great race to raise money for our life-saving service!

Story

Thank you for taking the time to view my fundraising page, I promise I will keep it to the point...

The Great Western Air Ambulance is a lifesaving charity based at Filton but serving 6 local counties (including my home county of Gloucestershire) and an estimated 2.1 million people! I took the photo above when the Air Ambulance attended an incident in Tuffley - it really is that local!

The highly-skilled Clinicians bring advanced care to the patient in their state-of-the-art Eurocopter and rapid response vehicles, significantly increasing the chances of survival following trauma or medical emergencies.

Quite simply, without the support of the community it serves, the GWAAC would not be able to operate. Therefore I have pledged this year to raise both funds and awareness of the GWAA charity in its 10th year of service through taking part in the Bristol 10k race and with further events planned in the summer.

Your support, no matter how big or small, would be truly appreciated. Please also spread the word about the GWAAC and together we can help to keep this wonderful charity going for many years to come.

Thank you!
