This year I am once again taking part in the 60 mile Dorset Bike Ride in aid of Macmillan Cancer Relief. I am sure that as Cancer touches the lives of so many people I do not need to go into great detail about the work of Macmillan. For those of you not familiar there is a link below to find out more.

 

This year I am looking to complete the ride in 3 hrs 45 minutes riding time (not counting tea breaks and punctures!), last year I completed it in 4 hrs 1 minute so am looking for a 16 minute improvement. I am hoping that my persistent cycling to work 5 days a week in all weathers will aid me in doing a better time, I have just clocked over 2000 miles on my Marin now so let's hope for a tail wind!
