As you may or may not know I have decided to run the London Marathon 2015. For those of you who know me well will know my usual level of fitness has never been great, especially since I've had to stop playing rugby after breaking my neck. But I am getting fitter than I've ever been and it's time for me to take on a new challenge in life.

However there are children out there that have either been in an accident or born with a genetic defect that means they aren't able to walk, run, or even crawl and this breaks my heart. Fortunately there is this amazing charity called Whizz-Kidz who can help. 

They offer powered and lightweight wheelchairs AND other mobility options for these children, as well as offering classes in how to use their new equipment and the opportunity to meet other children in the same situation and make new friends and learn new skills. They even help the children find work experience placements!! 

As you can see this is a really worth while charity making a real difference in the children's they help lives and they need all the support they can get.  I'm sure your life or the life of a friend or family member has been effected in this way and I'm also sure you want to do all you can to help them. Well here is your chance.  

I have pledged to raise £1600 for Whizz-Kidz by running the London Marathon in April 2015. This is going to be the hardest thing I've ever done and for those of you that know me well, you will know that the thought of running 26.2 miles is my worst nightmare . . . But with your support and the determination I can run this marathon and help make a difference in these children's lives! 

On top of running the marathon I will be taking part in other events and organising fund raising events to help with the fundraising process. All of which will be publicised and all of which will provide extra funds for this great charity. 

I'm not asking for everyone to make a massive donation but I am asking that you donate what you can afford, the more I raise the more determined I become and the more determined I become the more of a difference I can make. So please help Me help Them!!!
