Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In August 2003, our first daughter Rachel was born prematurely, although she received the best care possible she passed away 2 days later.

I was made aware of the 100k Thames Path Challenge taking place on 14th-15th September by British Miltary Fitness (Bushy Park) and decided to enter as it would be a great opportunity to raise money in memory of Rachel.

Bliss is a charity that helps babies born too soon, too small or too sick.

The funds raised for Bliss allow them to research innovative techniques & treatments that have the potential to save and improve the quality of life for babies born prematurely or sick.

Bliss also supports the parents of special care babies at the most difficult times, through their publications, message board and helpline.

Any sponsorship would be greatly appreciated and will further the special work of Bliss.

So please dig deep and donate now. Thank You :-)

Bliss is the leading UK charity for babies born premature or sick. We rely on donations to fund our work but with one baby admitted to neonatal care every five minutes we don’t have the resources to reach every baby who needs us. Your donation can help Bliss ensure every baby gets the best care.
