Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

I am running the London marathon on the 23rd of April. Along with the marathon I am also training for an Ironman triathlon at the end of July. This consists of a 3.8km swim, 180km cycle and a marathon - 42.2km. By no means a small feat, it's something I've wanted to do for a while now.

Many years ago I had a heart condition, WPW syndrome (which was fixed with surgery) and more recently my uncle had heart failure (he is now fit and well)

Any amount, big or small, will go a long way in helping the BHF fight heart disease and for them to continue their ongoing research!

=======================================================

Thanks for visiting my page. I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation and I'd be so grateful for your support. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thanks!
