Story

Motor neurone disease (MND) is a progressive disease that attacks the motor neurones, or nerves, in the brain and spinal cord. This means messages gradually stop reaching muscles, which leads to weakness and wasting. There is no known cause or cure for MND.

My twin sister, Helen, was diagnosed with MND in 2017. You can read about her experiences on her blog https://followingafullmoon.wordpress.com/  and in an article she wrote for The Guardian https://www.theguardian.com/society/2018/mar/17/living-with-motor-neurone-disease-mnd-helen-carmichael

Please support me in helping to fund the search for a cure for MND.
