Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page for

Mission Motorsport.

On 22nd June 2024 I'm taking on the biggest challenge of my running life so far. I will be taking part in the Cotswold Way Challenge Ultra Marathon. This is a 100km (62 mile) run along in a big circular loop around the stunning cotswolds

https://www.ultrachallenge.com/cotswold-way-challenge/

This will be the longest distance I have covered in a single run, along rough, wild and undulating terrain. With all the mandatory kit and whatever the British weather wants to throw at us on the day, it is going to be a very tough day and the potential to be quite lonely at times as well.

However, running 100km is nothing compared to the journey wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women go through every day and Mission Motorsport, the Forces Motorsport charity aids in the recovery and rehabilitation of those affected by military operations by providing opportunities through motorsport and the automotive industry. For them, it's not a pretty tough and lonely few hours, it's months and years.

So I'm choosing to put myself through a big challenge for me, to raise £575 for those who have a much bigger challenge they didn't choose and raise awareness and support the brilliant work that Mission Motorsport do. If you are able please do donate, it would mean the world to me and to the servicemen and women.
