Great North Swim 2014 · 13 June 2014 to 15 June 2014 ·

We’re the 10 million people living with arthritis in the UK. The carers, researchers and healthcare professionals. The family, friends and fundraisers. United by a clear vision: a future free from arthritis. One in which no one is limited by the pain, fatigue and isolation that arthritis can cause.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Saturday June 14th 2014 I will be entering the chilly waters of Lake Windermere in the Lake District to participate in The Great North Swim 2014. I will be swimming a mile course in my rubber suit (now there's an image for you!!).

Dontations will go towards Arthritis Research UK a charity which I have grown to appreciate having such close contact to Arthritis on a daily basis with our daughter. Treatment and help for Arthritis has come a long way but there's still so much that could be done for future generations to benifit from.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
