Story
On April 10th 2011 I will be running the Brighton Marathon and in the process would love to raise some money for a charity very close to mine and my family’s heart. It is also a good excuse to loose some weight which I have gained over the last few years.
My chosen charity is St Georges Hospital in Tooting. 3 years ago in May my Mother in Law Susan Potashnik pictured above was diagnosed with a Brain Tumour which was a big shock for everybody. The treatment and care she received in St Georges was 1st class and without the help and support of all the staff she may not be here today. She has made an amazing recovery and is doing very well.
I would like to use the Marathon to give something back to the hospital which helps save lives everyday. If St Georges don't receive funds I fear that one day the treatment and care may not be as great as it was for my Mother in Laws stay.
I would like to raise as much money as possible and would be most grateful to anybody who takes the time to donate. It doesn't matter whether it is £1 or £1000, every penny will help somebody in the future.
Please come and support myself and the other runners on the day.
