I have decided to run the London Marathon in April 2019 for Charity.
Myaware is a charity close to our hearts, they provide support for people with myasthenia and work hard to raise awareness of myasthenia, as there is little known of the condition.
When my father in law Huw, was diagnosed with Myasthenia it was the first I had heard of the illness and I didn't fully understand or appreciate the impact it has. It is associated with voluntary muscle weakness.
Huw has spent years helping others as a paramedic but unfortunately will have to retire this year from a job he loves due to myasthenia. He is a great man who helps raise money for this charity himself, I thought I would do my part.
I do exercise to try and keep the gut at a minimal but this challenge is far beyond me and going to take some serious commitment.
Please spare any loose change you can.
Thank you very much.
Jim
