In memory of Olivia Boddy
Children and young people with epilepsy are more likely to suffer from anxiety and depression than their peers, EPIC offers them support.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Our daughter Olivia was diagnosed with Epilepsy in 2020.

Heartbreakingly she passed away following a seizure, SUDEP (sudden unexpected death in epilepsy) on 16th January 2022.

We are raising money for the charity Epic which supported Olivia after she was diagnosed. Part of that support is providing counselling to youngsters after they have been diagnosed, Olivia benefitted from this very much. We have also been looking into wearable devices which can trigger an alarm when someone is having a seizure. These can be quite expensive so we hoping that any money raised can go towards purchasing some to give to other children so no other parent has to go through what we have.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
