A huge thank you for your donations, there's nothing quite like being accountable to give you some extra motivation!
Miraculously with over 100 people taking part in the race, Sarah came first in her age group and second placed women overall. As predicted I was left trailing, coming 5th in my age group and 10th overall. However, with our only pre race expectation being to save the embarrassment of coming last, we're both still shocked and convinced this must be some horrible mistake.
We ran 72.81KM in 10:50:47, climbing 4793M and raised a combined total of 1700 GBP in Memory of two very special people.
