Story
Pre-Covid, running was rarely found at the top of my list for ways to unwind, particularly as I could only run 3k non-stop! But over the course of the last 2 years, with all the lockdowns and working from home, I've had the opportunity to train, explore the Hampshire countryside and get fitter, and can now run in excess of 10k!
Now that some semblance of normality is returning to the UK, its time to put my new favourite pursuit to good use by running 13.1 miles or 21.1km around Cardiff on the 27th March 2022!
By running the Cardiff Half Marathon for Cardiff University research, I hope to help improve lives in Wales and beyond. Specifically, I am raising money to support work into neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism and ADHD, major psychiatric disorders like schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, and neurodegenerative disorders including Alzheimer’s, Huntington’s and Parkinson’s disease.
