For those who havent heard of Caudwell Children before, they give fantastic support to disabled and children with life-limiting illnesses.

One of the main reasons I have chosen to run for the charity is the amazing programme called 'Destination Dreams'.

In terms of families with children that have a life-limiting illness, you can imagine it can be incredibly draining with constant doctors and hospitals, both emotionally and financially.

 

So Destination Dreams is where they can take the whole family to a dream location, somewhere like Disney land so they can enjoy a once in a life time opportunity with their loved ones. They also send a medical team with them to ensure that if there are any problems they will be in safe hands. This leaves the family with memories of a great family holiday, rather than memories of doctors and hospitals. Which I’m sure you agree is amazing.

 

However, this years trip is under threat and they need all the support they can get. so even if its a little it goes a long way. Besides seeing me finally get off the sofa and do a bit of exercise bust be worth a few pennies.
