A large thank you to all who sponsored us. I believe around £150k was raised by the event.
THE OBJECTIVE:
We've left it a touch late but we're doing a sprint triathlon (see website) this weekend in aid of 'Hope and Homes for Children'.
Their mission:
"To give hope to the poorest children in the world – those who are orphaned, abandoned or vulnerable – by enabling them to grow up within the love of a family and the security of a home, so they can fulfill their potential."
We're not asking for much - but whatever we raise will be matched by our team sponsor St. James' Place Wealth Management.
PAIN GUARANTEED:
Yes it's only a sprint triathlon but bejesus it won't be easy!
Jo hasn't trained since her last race (early August) and has been
partying in Vegas so she's going to be in a whole world of hurt and I'm
recovering from a knee issue (after a recent half Ironman) whichwill likely mean having to hop the last kilometre of the run - looking forward to that!
THE USEFUL INFO:
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Appreciate any help you can give!
