JDRF is the world's leading charitable funder of type 1 diabetes research and works tirelessly to improve the lives of children until they find a cure.  It is an excellent charity and is well known to me as I have a nephew who has lived with type 1 since he was only 3 years old.  

This will be my first experience of running a marathon having run several half marathons previously.  I am training hard and am progressing well but I am not a natural long distance runner and it has been quite hard going!  Please help me to reach my fundraising target which will really benefit the work of this excellent charity!
