Climbing and skiing the K2 (8,611 m) in 24h on our local mountain · 12 March 2021

Story

Hi!

A team of Nepali climbers recently made history with the first winter summit of K2 - the second highest mountain in the world. A record and milestone!

My bro Leon and I got inspired: we want to climb and ski the K2 (8,611m) in 24h on our local Bavarian mountain. So we'll climb up and ski down our local mountain many many times. It will be crazy exhausting and we probably won't make it, but it'll be so much fun!

We are fundraising for Women for Women International, which provides relief and support to female survivors of war. They have supported over 500,000 women across 8 conflict-affected countries to overcome the horrors of war. Gender-based violence in disaster areas is an overlooked problem and relief is desperately needed.

Grateful for any donations. Would make me so happy!

Sending positive energy,

Jakob
