We've taken part in the Race For Life before. Except then it didn't really have a personal meaning. Not like it does now...
This year started off really crap. This year we have been and are dealing with, daily, the impact that Cancer can have on the most precious of people. This year we are on a roller coaster of emotions as we stand by and support our beautiful Mum as she fights this god awful disease. So this year, we run this for her.
Mum has Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. A long, horrible course of treatment that WILL (positive thinking) get rid of this nasty disease. You think you can be prepared for it but you really can't.
So we're doing our bit. Yes we can stand by Mum but we wanted to give something back. Do our bit to help raise money so that more research can be done into this vile disease. The next bit is the standard info from the page, but I wanted you to know our personal reasons for doing this.
Please. Sponsor us what you can. We are so grateful for anything, large all small.
Thank you.
Jaki & Donna xx
