Story

Annie and Phoebe are taking part in the Race to the Base in support of our local air ambulance service because we haven't been able to fundraise with Jake's walk & party in 2020 or 2021.

The Great North Air Ambulance Service provides world-class, critical care across the North East, North Yorkshire and Cumbria. Their doctor-led critical care team delivers life-saving treatments at the scene of an incident whether that is on a fell top, a roadside or in a city centre. In 2020 the charity responded to over 1,200 emergency call-outs.

Jake was airlifted by GNAA in 2015 but unfortunately lost his life and we would hate it if somebody couldn't get the emergency care they needed because the helicopter didn't have enough money to fly,
