Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Last year my son Jacob was badly injured in a racing accident. That was enough to turn our world upside down but to make things even more difficult was that it happened in France. He spent 6 months in 2 different French hospitals.

How Kelly and I managed to cope and stay with him was through the enormous help provided by the IJF. We couldn't have done it without them.

Now back in the UK they continue to support Jake in so many ways that wouldn't be available to us normally.

In an effort to give back to them I'm teaming up with the amazing Alice Cosgrove and friends to run 100 km in April.

I used to be a bit of a runner but over the last few years have become more like a 1980s darts player that can't actually play darts so it will be a challenge. That said, a very worthwhile challenge. If you are able to donate even a small amount to enjoy my suffering it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Matt
