We promote research into brain tumours to close the funding gap for brain tumours

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. My name is Jake, I am 13 years old and I play water polo for Sedgefield Water Polo Club and the North East Region.  A 24 year old friend of our family was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour last year and I want to raise money for the Brain Tumour Research.  I will be swimming half a mile in Lake Windermere on Sunday 12 June.  Your support would mean so much.  Thank you

About the charity

BTRC works with a Neurosciences team at Charing Cross and Hammersmith Hospitals (Imperial College London) to promote research into the causes of brain tumours and possible new treatments, to raise public awareness of the desperate need for this research and the current lack of funding.
