Story

On Friday 13th September 2019, 52 Gallagher Bassett employees will be walking up Mount Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales to raise money for Fisher House, a Home away from Home for military patients and their families on the site of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. Fisher House opened in 2013 and has since offered support and free accommodation for thousands of military patients and their families. The Trek will be a real challenge by night for everyone. We will start the walk at 2.00 am on the Saturday morning to arrive at the summit in time to watch the breath-taking sunrise on the Saturday morning, followed by a well earnt breakfast for everyone! Fisher House is part of the QEHB Charity which not only supports Fisher House but also supports hospitals in the Greater Birmingham area Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, Heartlands Hospital, Solihull Hospital and Good Hope Hospital. Thank you to everyone for supporting us as we undertake this challenge and raise money for such a good cause.
