Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The reason I got involved in this charity skydive was to raise money for the Children's hospital Neonatal surgical unit. My niece Harley (pictured above with her favourite uncle :p) was born in heartlands then rushed to Birmingham childrens hospital due to the lining of her stomach not having fully grown before she was born (Gastroschisis for anyone curious). Thanks to the work of the doctors and nurses there, she made a full recovery after the surgery, with the only impact on her life being a (now small) scar on her stomach.

To thank the hospital for all they've done, I'm trying to raise as much money as I possibly can, and my work have agreed to double the total amount I raise for the Charity, so every bit helps!

Thank You

Jake

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
