Story
On the 28th of July 2013, myself and a team of comrades will be competing in what has widely been described as "the toughest race in the world", with up to one-third of starters failing to finish.
This is no normal race, this is Tough Guy Nettle Warrior, a 19km course consisting of a cross country run followed by an assault course, claimed to be tougher than any other worldwide, with even the military wanting to put troops through the course before deployment overseas.
The obstacle courses consists of 25 obstacles including a slalom run up and down a hill, ditches, jumps, nettles and fire pits to name a few. See the below link for more of the gruelling obstacles

We are putting our bodies through this ordeal for a couple of hours, however the men and women of the British Military do this on a daily basis when deployed in some of the harshest environments in the world. These brave folk risk their lives to defend our country and can experience horrific injuries doing their jobs. With the support from Help for Heroes, injured service men and women are provided with the care and support to try and give them a normal life.
Just a small donation helps this charity to continue with the excellent work is does to provide our British heroes a better way of life after the armed forces.
Please see how much you can donate as every little helps.
Thank you
