Story
Very sadly my Dads brother, Lawrence, died from an Asthma attack at the age of 16 after a life struggling with it. My Dad suffers from Asthma and even more so the loss of his big brother. Growing up I remember me and my brothers asking about him and what happened as we didn't really understand. My Dad could barely talk about it and it's the only time I remember seeing him cry. I cannot even comprehend losing one of my brothers so young and wish nobody had to.
There are many worthy causes and charities but I have seen the pain and sadness this has caused my Dad and for someone who I am extremely close with it has always stuck with me. I want to run for Asthma UK to raise as much money as possible which in turn will help others not have to go through what my Dad and his Parents & Sister had to go through. If we can help one family even 1% then it will be worthwhile.
I also hope that in some way by continuing to raise awareness and fundraising it will help keep his memory alive.
I would GREATLY appreciate any support in helping reach this target :)

1 in 5 of us will have a lung condition during our lifetime. There's a new diagnosis every minute.I'm running The London Marathon for Asthma + Lung UK. Theyre the only UK charity that fights for everyones right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UKs nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice. I'd be very grateful for any donations you could make!
