Story
I’m doing a sponsored bike ride from London to Brighton on 11 September, as part of the London Cycling Campaign team. LCC is a member organisation that campaigns for better infrastructure and awareness to make cycling safe and enjoyable for everyone in London. As I ride to work a couple of days a week, I know there is lots to be done to make it more accessible, not least for children, older people and marginalised groups. More people cycling means fewer cars on the road, which means less air pollution and climate change and a safer city for everyone.
I’m also doing the ride in memory of a friend called Gary, who was a keen cyclist and passed away suddenly earlier this year.
Will you help me raise or beat my target of £350?
