Story

Hi all I am raising money on behalf of the starlight children's charity.

As you may or may not be aware at the beginning of this year I decided to enter myself into a 4 mile open water swim taking place on the 10th July. I knew this was going to be challenging as the furthest I have ever swam before is up to a pool bar on holiday. I started the year teaching myself to swim by watching videos on YouTube and slowly building up lengths in the local pool. Now with a month to go I would really appreciate any donations that could be made to help support this charity.

The money we raise will directly help children to cope with serious illness by giving them tools to manage anxiety and isolation when they need it most. Not only this, but youre also supporting their siblings and parents by funding family breaks and away days, giving them a chance to make comforting, life lasting memories together, no matter what the future may bring. From all of them, THANK YOU!
