Hi everyone,

In January 2011 i am challenging myself  to climb Mt Kilimanjaro in Africa. At 19,340 ft (5,895 metres), it is the tallest free-standing mountain in the world. Just to let you know i have a phobia of heights!, but im doin it for a good cause so im sure ill overcome that fear. Altitude sickness is a bit of a concern and i am not undertaking this challenge lightly. I have quit all my bad habits such as smoking, drinking and eating junk food and have started to train every morning. I feel very strongly that i can achieve the once in a lifetime opportunity of reaching the summit whilst raising a decent amount of money for a very worthwhile charity.
