Story
Zambia, Africa has one of the world's largest orphan populations due to the HIV/AIDS epidemic. These orphans are without hope in this developing country apart from generous people who step in to care for them. This is why Every Orphans Hope has been rescuing orphaned and vulnerable children for the last 20 years. In 2020, four new baby rescue homes were built so that 40 orphaned babies and toddlers could be rescued and cared for by live-in mothers. Since opening in December 2020, they have continued receiving multiple new children into their care each month. Here are a few of their stories: An infant who was abandoned and found inside a grocery bag at a bus stop. A toddler who was force-fed alcohol to be more easily managed by her caregiver. A three-year-old (Luke’s age) who was abandoned by his mother and left to beg on the streets for food. A three-month-old baby whose mother passed away in April 2020. Will you help me raise the support needed for the new babies? Any amount helps and I’ll be posting pictures and updates while I’m in country starting June 16th.
