Let me introduce myself. I am Sweta Jain (Mrs Essex Galaxy 2017/18), living in Essex with my two lovely boys and a very supportive and loving husband.

As part of competing in the final of Mrs Galaxy UK 2018, I will be raising funds for 'The Christie', the chosen charity by the Pageant Girl Ltd for a number of years due to their pioneering work in cancer care, research and eduction.

I am planning to organise the following events to raise awareness about Cancer and to collect as much funds as possible for 'The Christie', which have been doing pioneering cancer research work for over a century.

• My birthday party with friends and family,
• Coffee mornings with some activities and
• Art workshops

I have also been working with various charitable organisations to raise funds. Recently, I have raised funds through the auction of my paintings for:

• 'The Rajasthani Foundation' supporting 'Navjyoti Manovikas Kendra, Jodhpur' and 'Jagriti, Jaipur', 
• 'Sikh Golf Society' supporting 'Khalsa Aid'
• 'Sterling Dental Foundation' supporting 'Great Ormond Street Hospital'.

I am hoping that my participation in the 'Mrs UK Galaxy Pageants' will provide me with a platform to do many more things in future.
