Jaina at the age of 13 was diagnosed with a rare neurodegenerative disease called Friedreich’s Ataxia which left her chair-bound, with poor visibility and a lack of coordination, amongst many other symptoms. 

Even though this had heavily impacted the quality of  her life, she still lived every moment to its fullest and learnt how to overcome the many challenges that she faced on a day to day basis. She was an inspiration to many of us and will be remembered for the strength and courage she showed throughout her life.
