Yemen is facing a major humanitarian crisis. A devastating conflict has left children and families in urgent need of food, water and medical supplies. Since the conflict began, an average of six children have been killed or maimed every day.
We are focusing on providing vital medical aid to that region via a medical camp. Below are breakdown of what the medical camp will offer:
The camp will have 4 clinics (eye care, general physician, reproductive health and family planning, and paediatric. The specialists, para medical staff, and other team members will serve voluntarily. The camp will also have a pharmacy that will have essential drugs for common diseases (antibiotics, anti-helminthes, anti-pyretic, Multivitamins, Folic Acid, etc). moreover, the camp will set up a laboratory to provide essential investigations required to get a provisional diagnosis for patients (RBS test, CBC test, Stool & Urine Analysis, etc). besides all this, the camp will also serve to raise awareness against Cholera, diphtheria and common diseases for males and females in the waiting tents.
