On 22nd September 2019, I'm running the Belfast Half Marathon for Meningitis Now in support of my dad, Stephen, who fell ill with bacterial meningitis in June 2018. 

Because of meningitis, my dad spent a week in the ICU in Craigavon Hospital and although he is on the mend, his recovery process has been a long one and it's not over yet. I'm hoping that by raising these funds for Meningitis Now I can help to raise awareness of meningitis and support the work they're doing to help support sufferers of meningitis, like my dad, and their families.
