I really do not run, at all. Yet, in March 2020, I am taking part in the Bath Half Marathon and running for Bath Cats and Dogs home- the Together Project. The project provides preventative and routine veterinary care to the animals of people who are living on the streets of Bath, or in temporary accommodation. For those people, sometimes a loyal dog is the only person who will sit with them in their day, and most importantly, not judge them. There is something truly special about this bond, and I’m so honoured to have witnessed it as part of working as a vet for the project, and can help keep these cats and dogs stay healthy. We have 50+ animals now on our books, and work from two shelters, and on the streets.

I have had the joy of seeing a woman and a man move into permanent accommodation with their pets since working there, and see the difference we can make. Every pound raised will go to Bath Cats and Dogs Home, who support and fund our project.
