Story
Hi All,
I know this is a little late as I am running the Bristol Half Marathon on Sunday 30th September (not long now) but I would like to ask you all to donate what you can to this worthy charity I have personally chosen.
Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide exists to meet the needs and break the isolation of those bereaved by the suicide of a close relative or friend.
Some of you may or not know that my uncle aged 38 took his own life 5 years ago. My family was devastated that we lost a father, son, brother and a 'big' uncle, but with such a strong family support we made it through this terrible time. I watched helplessly as my Mum lost her little brother, so many unanswered questions and people silently blaming themselves for not helping Brendan. Too this day we wil never know any of the answers we may or may not like to hear. But Brendan is always in our hearts, he was an amazing person and he was loved by all.
You hear a lot about people taking their own lives and the people left behind are often forgotten about, they are suffering too. By donating to this charity, we can help families and friends get the support they need.
Please please please dontate all you can.
