Story
The truly heartbreaking reality of living with Motor Neurone’s Disease, has been receiving a lot of attention in the media at the moment. Unfortunately, we have lived this first hand and it has been 10 years in April 2023 since we lost our mum, Teresa, to this awful disease.
Mum, we can’t quite believe how quickly this time has gone but the hardest part is that in this time, you’ve missed so many of our important life events. Both of us have bought houses, got new jobs, travelled the world, got fur babies and had amazing weddings, which we know you would have loved.
While it will not make the time she’s missed any easier, we wanted to do something to mark the 10 year anniversary. Therefore, we will be walking 100km along the steep cliffs of the Jurassic Coast in 1 day, something she was unable to do due to her deterioration (although something she may never have chosen to do anyway!).
Any donations that can be made will be gratefully received. Every amount is a step in the right direction to understanding this disease and hopefully one day curing it!
