Story
As most of you know I ran the Oxford half marathon last year to raise money for Sobell House, a charity close to mine and my families heart.
I am crazy enough to have decided to run the half again this year! The feeling of raising so much money last year and all the effort and determination to get to that finish line to make my mum proud meant everything to me and my family, so here we are back to training!
I lost my Mum to a brave battle with Cancer January 4th 2021, the most beautiful lady in the whole world that I was able to call my Mum. Sobell House looked after Mum before she sadly passed away, and for that I will be forever grateful. They made sure she was comfortable and at ease and always was so kind to all of my family. They also helped me and my sister after my mum passed with a free grief service, continuing to show support and guidance with what was the most hardest time of our lives imaginable.
Sobell House is a charity run hospice, for every single donation we can all make a difference to someone’s last few months or days of their lives and their families lives.
I want to keep my mums wish of raising money for Sobell for as long as I can and to show appreciation for everything they do in such a sad, hard time in peoples lives.
I would really appreciate any donation how big or small, it means the world to me and will be my motivation to keep smashing the miles out in training!
Thankyou!
Lots of love
Jade xx
