Story
Myself and Petch will be completing 10,000 steps a day together for Willows throughout March. Petch will be mainly the one walking but I am going to try and do as much as I can without making myself ill!
Willow is the only national charity working with seriously ill young adults aged 16 to 40 to fulfil uplifting and unforgettable Special Days.
I was diagnosed with stage 4 double hit non-hodgkins lymphoma at the age of 26 just 3 months after the birth of my son. I had a 14.7cm tumour in my chest when I was diagnosed, resulting in my circulation to my head being cut off causing extreme swelling and breathlessness, I couldn’t even walk to the bathroom and back without my lips turning black. I now as a result of cancer am left with 1 working lung, chronic scaring from blood clots in my neck, heart and lungs, pleural thickening in my lungs, CFS/ME and other ongoing health conditions.
Willows foundation have arranged for me, my partner and 3 children to have a weekend away at Legoland. They are an amazing supportive charity and I would love to try and raise as much money as I can.
