My brother in law Alex Wright unexpectedly passed away in September aged 47, and his biggest passion was mountain biking. He rode the beast this year and finished in 51st position in just over 4 hours. 

In Alex's memory, I am fundraising for his chosen charity, the GNAAS. I have decided to enter the Hamsterly Beast 3 in May 2017. I will be riding on the very same bike that Alex rode so it will be very personal for me. I know he will be encouraging me through my training and wanting me to raise as many pennies for the GNAAS,  as he had seen 1st hand the benefit of this service and knows how dedicated the volunteers are.
