1 in every 208 people living in England are without a home and over the past 10 years, those families living in temporary accommodation 🏠 has risen by 74%!  Nearly 1/4 million children are homeless in England in 2023 and   this number is expected to rise. 

I used to think that those on the street were lazy, drug addicts or frauds until a friend showed me different. He believed that it could be anyone of us sat begging for money with one bad choice or one unlucky incident and he talked to every homeless person he came across and got to know their story. He told me of the university professor who lost his daughter and couldn’t cope with his grief, he told me of the young guy he met who had decided that sleeping rough was better than the violence experienced at home and he told me of the veteran who suffered with ptsd and ran out of sofas to surf. So you never know where life may take you, we all need a little support and a leg up sometimes and I hope by supporting the CEO sleepout 💤 I can help just a little.
