Well i've done it now. I'm back home! It was tougher than I thought as I was ill during the trek and it is hard to keep wlaking when you have to keep dashing behind a rock. Anyway I survived and it was awesome. The montains were amazing!

 For me the most impressive bit was the monastery  of St Catherine's, it is such an isolated place and, although for an hour or so a day when the visitors come to look at the Burning Bush it is very busy, the monks seem to be so calm and serene and unhurried. I think it was the air of stillness that was the most impressive in this busy world. It has made me determined to slow down and search even harder for the important rather than the urgent
