Story
In April 2022, I will be taking on the huge challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon. Thank you so much in advance for donating whatever you can, it really will make a massive difference.
I had breast cancer at 38 years old and 40 years old, resulting in radiotherapy initially, and then a bilateral mastectomy. I am still here to tell the tale and enjoy my boys who were so little when I was diagnosed at such an early age. The treatment I received then was amazing and it is even better now as Cancer Research has made such monumental advancement regarding treatments.
My husband, Steve, was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer last February. It was another shock that someone so comparatively young, fit and healthy should have this diagnosis and it is rubbish. He has been remarkable with chemo and radio, but more money raised for cancer Research will make a difference to all of us that are faced with a cancer diagnosis.
My Dad died with prostate cancer and I know far too many people who have been affected with cancer, so I ask you to make a donation , however small or humungous. I hate asking for money but this would mean so much to us all.
Thank you xxxxxxxx
