Story
I don't generally ask for sponsorship for the events I take part in, so for me to do this I'm genuinely wanting to help this particular charity. I've paid for my own place so any money I raise will be going to the charity entirely.
I've lost family & friends to breast cancer. You may have too. Or you may know of someone who has/is having treatment for this disease. So what do Breast Cancer Care actually do?
- They support people with free face-to-face groups, access to breast care nurses, peer support and a ground-breaking app
- They inform through publications and with online information
- They campaign for better care
- They empower people to make the best decisions for them
Isn't it good to know that there's help and understanding out there for those facing a breast cancer diagnosis? Breast Cancer Care will help every step of the way.
Yes I'll be running and thinking of those I've lost, but I'll also be celebrating when I cross that line for all my friends & family who are survivors.
Please visit their website to see the fantastic work they do www.breastcancercare.org.uk , and if you'd like to help support them, a donation (however big or small) can be made on this page.
