Ingrid and I have volunteered at Mires Beck for 3 years.
When working alongside the staff and service users, we always feel part of the team.
Everyone is friendly and helpful and support is readily available.
Mires Beck is surrounded by local East Yorkshire villages. As well as providing a place in society for vulnerable adults, it also provides an ideal location for visitors to experience the tranquillity offered by the varied rural surroundings within Mires Beck as well as views beyond. It's also within easy access for the purchase of plants and to attend the many events planned for the coming year.
We have experienced that Mires Beck provides a calm, peaceful environment which nurtures healthy wellbeing for all who are involved or visit the nursery.
We would like to fundraise for a more enhanced fire protection system on their site.
